When Marguerite Sears went to Haifa to visit Ruhiyyih Khanum, Ivan Lloyd gave her  a photograph of this painting  and asked for her opinion, as he was unsure if it the composition was appropriate.  Upon her return Marguerite related that when Ruhiyyih Khanum  saw the photograph, she was very pleased and said  it was her favorite painting of the Guardian and was amazed that the artist knew  that every morning, as a child, Shoghi Effendi rode on a horse from Akka to Bahji, a fact the artist was unaware of.  She treasured the photograph and planned to have it framed in her apartment and later sent a letter of appreciation.
